Help!
Do I want to go to Palma in Spain or Santorini in Greece? They both look very pretty.

[December 30] |
I've been so busy lately! I feel so bad for it, but between going to all sorts of Christmases, working at my real job, and then helping my dad out at the Leaky Cauldron it seems like there's just never any time to sit down and relax. Doesn't it seem a bit silly to want to take a break from the holidays with a holiday? It might be, but I'm a bit tempted. Maybe somewhere warm with a lot of palm trees and sand. Hm.

[November 27] |
Oh my.
I received an owl from my father just a bit ago and I think it finally sunk in what he was saying. He actually bought the Leaky Cauldron yesterday. I had noticed that the sign had changed from For Sale to Sold at some point during the day, but I had no idea that that had been because of my father. Naturally he doesn't have to ask permission to do such a thing as he is the parent, but I'm still a bit shocked.
I'm happy, though, because I think he needs this in order to get over mum's dea
I'm sure that it will be a good thing, of course. I hope that this doesn't backfi He's asked that Isaac and I help him out, which I will, but I won't be leaving my current job. I need to know I have security in case I suppose we'll just have to see what happens!

[November 12] |
I need to go Christmas shopping! Normally I'll have had it all finished by now but this time I haven't even started and it's actually a bit nerve wracking. Isaac wants that new Muggle game that just came out but I don't know if I'm going to be able to afford it. Being grown up is so expensive! It's easier with Liz here so that I don't have to pay for all of the rent and groceries on my own, but it's still sort of odd! I know that I'm 24 (almost 25 - oh my!) so I ought to be used to that by now but it's still a bit stressful from time to time.
So, I think that I'm going to have to be careful with my Christmas spending. I usually say that every year and I end up being a little more generous than I had been planning but isn't that what Christmas is all about? You know, other than the whole Jesus being born and all of that if you believe in the religion behind it which I do. I was thinking about looking into going to the church on the lane. The Catholic one, not the cult. Everyone seems very nice at the Cult of Margoth, but I don't think that's really something I need to be apart of. Seeing as it has the word Cult in the title and all. It's a bit off putting, you know? Oh and cleansing fires? That seems painful.
I mean, it's okay for those who want to be part of it! I just don't think it sounds like something for me. My mum was raised Catholic so it would make a lot more sense for me to be part of that, I think.
Oh, and I get to go to a wedding in a few weeks! I have no idea what I'm going to wear but I'm going with Neville and I'm really, really looking forward to it. I hope Neville is, too, but he asked me so -- oh, he can see this. What am I

[October 21] |
Hello! Hi! This is Hannah Abbott! Oh my, that is an excessive use of exclamation points - sorry about that! Oh, there's another one. Let me try this over.
I had misplaced my journal and when I had found it it was underneath a rather large terracotta pot and there was so much dirty on the pages I couldn't even read what was being written, so I bought myself another one. This one has that new journal smell that comes with all new books. It's sort of a mix of parchment and ink. Unfortunately, Rupert had already nabbed it off of the counter while I was helping a customer and it has teeth marks in it, but at least I can read the pages.
Anyway, I'm currently writing this from the Tea Room in St. Mungo's because there was a bit of a mishap at the shoppe. The House Elves make very lovely tea and biscuits! I don't think I've ever had chocolate biscuits quite this good. Would it be bad form to ask a House Elf for their recipe?
